Today, with over a decade of experience, Thomas is an independent Creative Director and founder of Thomas Defert Studio, a creative studio dedicated to celebrating French savoir-faire. He collaborates with iconic maisons such as Ligne Roset and Christian Louboutin to craft meaningful campaigns that celebrate heritage, quality, and above all, passion.
Before going independent, he spent five years at BETC Paris (Havas) as Senior Art Director, leading creative work across global accounts.
In 2016, he joined Leo Burnett (Publicis Groupe) as Art Director & Head of Studio, working on international accounts.
Thomas began his advertising career in 2012 as a Beauty & Luxury Art Director at Ogilvy Paris (WPP).
